Welcome to the 2nd Annual Schmeckenfest Showdown Basketball Tournament taking place in La Grange, Texas. This year's event will feature 6 divisions and a total of 93 games across three action-packed days of competition.
The tournament coincides with one of La Grange's favorite traditions - Schmeckenfest, Our annual Christmas celebration is held on Thursday, December 4. We will conclude Thursday's games early to allow teams, coaches, and fans to head downtown to enjoy the festivities.
Schmeckenfest is a community highlight featuring a Christmas parade, the lighting of the county tree, live music, local food, games, and plenty of holiday cheer. A crowd favorite is the Wassail Tasting Contest, where local businesses compete to serve the best version of this warm, spiced holiday drink. Free to attend and full of small-town spirit, Schmeckenfest is a memorable experience - and a perfect way for players and families to kick off the holiday season together.
Admission & Tickets: Admission is $10 per day or $20 for a full tournament pass (fees not included). All tickets will be sold online.

Gym Rules:
Gym Locations:High School Gym & Middle School Gym - Both are located next to each other on the High School/Middle School Campuses at 820 S Vail, La Grange, TX. Entry to the High School Gym will be different on Day 1 of the Tournament due to school being in session. All Day 1 visitors to the High School or Middle School Gym must first check into the Middle School Gym. Also on Day 1, the only visitor accessible bathrooms will be in the Middle School Gym. Concessions will be located in the Middle School Gym.
Hermes Gym 1 & Hermes Gym 2 - Both are located side-by-side on the Elementary Campus. Gym addresses are 215 S Jackson and 125 S Jackson, La Grange, TX.All visitors to either Hermes Gym 1 or Hermes Gym 2 must first check into Hermes Gym 2. On Day 1, school is in session and the parent car rider lines will wrap around the Elementary Campus. Expect delays during these morning and afternoon times and please do not disrupt the flow of the car rider lines. Concessions will be located in Hermes Gym 2.
